The Annual cultural event of 'Valvai Kalai Ilkkiya Manram’ held yesterday, on 01st of January 01-01-15 at Sivan and Amman common outer road, Valvettithurai. The events had commenced at 16.30 hours.
The event was headed by Viswaruban, head of the 'Valvai Kalai Ilkkiya Manram’ Professor N.Shanmukalingan (Vice chancellor, Jaffna University), Kalapusanam V.Muthusamy and Mrs.Subashini Sebastian (Artist, dance) had participated as Chief guests
The event commenced at VVT junction, by inviting the Guests from VVT junction to temples outer road, where the stage program were taken place.
Having commenced with lighting of traditional oil lamp, Silent Prayer and Thamizh mozhi vazhthu, and the event had continued to Speeches, Dances, Musical program, drama and Short film etc.
‘Valvai Kalai ilkkiya Manram’ had released their yearly publication - named 'Neithal', during the events.
Large number of crowd was present to watch the events, which lasted till 2230 hours.
