Valvettithurai Athisakthi pre school annual sports meet was held today at Chithambara college ground. The event was headed by Mr.Paramanantharasa (president of Athisakthi Pre-school), where Mr.K.Rasathurai (Principal, Chithambara College), Mrs.Kirija Vasuthevan (Secretary, Valvettithurai Urban council), Miss.S.Sathajini (Pre-schools coordinator, Point Pedro) and K.Nisanthan (G.S, Valvettithurai, North West J388) participated as Chief guests and Mr.N.Sivaratnam (Retired Assistant Manager, Bank of Ceylon) participated as guest of honour.
The events had commenced at about 1500 hours, by welcoming the guests with band play, played by the students. The events lasted till about 1800 hours where number of events, including events for past pupils and parents were too held.
