Elackiya Sithamparanathan wins the International Award for Excellence

Elackiya Sithamparanathan has won the International Award for Excellence for On Sustainability Collection, Volume 12 Champaign, Ill., USA – February 2, 2017.
The Sustainability Research Network has announced on its press release that the selection of “Implementing Bioremediation Technologies to Degrade Chemical Warfare Agents and Explosives from War Affected Regions in Sri Lanka,” Elackiya Sithamparanathan, as the winner of the International Award for Excellence for Volume 12 of the On Sustainability Collection.
This article has been selected for the award from among the ten highest-ranked papers emerging from the peer-review process and according to the selection criteria outlined in the referee guidelines.
Elackiya Sithamparanathan (27) born in Ilakkanavaththai, Valvettithurai, presently living Holland, has studied in Uduppiddy Girls College from grade 1 to grade 13.
Having completed her BSC in Bangladesh Elackiya Sithamparanathan has done PHD on ‘Master of science in environmental technology’ in Holland.

Good to read this article, Happy to know one of our own people won this excellent award at a young age. Her school and village must be happier to know this. Congratulations to her. Best wishes to continue her research and win more awards.
