Mr.Arumugam Sivanathan, the former prinicipal of Valvettithurai Sivakuru Vitdyasalai was honord today at the school Thaiyal Bagar auditorium. Mr.Sivanathan, who left the school last year to take over Puttalai Maha Vitdalayam, had served in this school for about 5 years.
The ceremony had commenced at about 2 P.M with a band play performed by school’s students. Having lighted the auspicious lamp, the events continued, where several notable persons had given speeches, including Mr.M.K.Sivajilingam, the member of Northern Provincial Council.
Number of persons, including the present Principal Mr.S.Jeyananthakumar, Teachers, Students, Ex-students, Parents etc participated in this event, which had lasted till 5 P.M
