Valvettithurai born Mr. Philip Mohan Soundaraj, who served in America's space agency (Nasa) passed away today in Texas, USA. due to heart attack, at the age of 64.
Mr.Philip Mohan who did his advanced level in Colombo Royal college and passed out his Bsc Physics special in Jaffna university.
There after he graduated his Msc. PhD Solid state, at Vanderbilt University Nashville Tennessee.
He served in NASA Houston Texas 1988-1989.
Mr.Philip Mohan was one of the founder of Valvai Kalvi Manram, a private tuition at Valvettithurai, where he was a part time teacher in late 70's.
Mr.Philip Mohan's two of Siblings were killed during a bombardment in 1992 at Nediyakadu, Valvettithurai.
