105 year old lady still walking in the garden in Jaffna, celebrates her birthday today (Photos and Video)

Nadarsa Nallamma, who celebrates her 105th birth day today 10.01.2015, literate, speaks Tamil with few words of English, lives in a house which has surrounded by greeneries at Kerudavil, Thondamanru of Jaffna peninsula, Srilanka. Even though it is common to see persons of 100 years old in the different part of the world, it is uncommon to see a lady having passed 104 years in our Jaffna peninsula.
Nadarasa Nallamma greets us with a raised arm, smiles and sits down in her chair.
Nadarasa Nallamma’s 38 year old grandson Ilaiyaraja, who is a teacher, said Nallamma’s disciplinary art has made her long life. She had lost her hearing considerably, but still able to see without bearing glasses and walks with the cane in her garden and to her neighbor’s houses everyday.
Guinness World Records says the oldest living person verified by original proof of birth is Misao Okawa, a 115-year-old Japanese woman. However there are few cases to have been reported to be more than 115 years old.
