The traditional tiger hunting festival - 12th day annual festival of Valvettithurai Sri Muthumariamman temple was held yesterday. The traditional event of hunting of tigers was simulated at the outer road of the temple when goddess was underway.
While aerial fireworks show rocking the sky, Tamils traditional martial art of ‘Silampaddam” etc attracted the large number of devotees who witnessed the festival.
The annual festival of this temple has commenced on 20th and continues till 4th.
