The annual get together of Valvettithurai based Srilankan Tamil, in Canada, was held on last Saturday, 13th Of July 2014. The events had taken place at Area 1,2,3,&4 (Keel& Sheppard), Downs view Dells Park, where number of people had participated to make the event successful.
Valvai based Mr.Sivanayagam Mohanthas was honoured at this event for his remarkable ‘100 Creative designs record”, which he had made so as to honour and remember Mr.Kumar Anandan (Called ‘Azhikumaran Anandan”), another hero, hailed from notable Valvettithurai, who had made one man history in the World Guinness in early 80’s.
It may be recalled that The Annual Summer festival ('Valvai Kodai Vizha' in Tamil) of Valvettithurai based Srilankan Tamil held in London on 6th of July 2014.
Valvai Welfare association (Canada) too had have supported on the development of Valvettithurai in many ways.
