Sakthivel Piratheepan gets elected as new Valvettithurai Urban Council member

At an event headed by Mr.Kulanayakam, Justice of Peace, Mr. Sakthivel Piratheepan has taken oath as a new Valvettithurai Urban Council member. The event was held yesterday at about 1215 hours.
Sakthivel Piratheepan has replaced the seat of Mr.M.K.Sivajilingam, who had to resign from his seat, after got elected into NPC.
The decision of electing of new member Sakthivel Piratheepan for Valvettithurai Urban Council is from Election commission and Tamil National Alliance (TNA) to which newly elected member belongs to.
The nine members Valvettithurai Urban Council has got 7 members from TNA and 2 members from EPDP.
