29th General Convocation of Jaffna University to be held on 10th & 11th, 3 students from VVT area to receive degrees, diplomas

The twenty ninth General Convocation, Convocation 2013, of the University of Jaffna to be held on 10th and 11th of January 2014. The said convocation comprises of four sessions on each day to take place at the Kailasapathy Auditorium with the first session commencing at 0900 hours.

 

It is learnt that more than 1300 students receive degrees and/or diplomas at this convocation, which includes

 

Doctor of Philosophy - 4, Master of Philosophy – 14, 127 Master of Education – 127, Master of Arts - 22, Master of Science 8, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, - 129, Postgraduate Diploma in Library & Information Science – 12 and 898 Students in Bachelor Degrees including 373 B.A, 115 B.FA, 16 LLB, 133 BBA, 86 B.Sc, 51 B.Sc.(Agriculture), 04 B.Sc.(Comp Science), 68 MBBS, 15 Allied  Health Science Degrees and 2 Sidhdha Medicine (சித்த மருத்துவம் in Tamil).

 

Moreover, sixty students would receive Diploma and 222 students would receive degrees from External Degree Programmes.

 

Three numbers of students from Valvettithurai area too would receive degrees, diploma at this convocation and their details as follows,
