The Valvai Vikneswara library has called for great kite competition to be held on 14th of Thai pongal day. The kite competition would commence at 14.30 hours at Uthayasooriyan beach, Valvettithurai.
Considerable numbers of homemade paper kites to couple professional small spinning kites are expected to fill the beautiful blue sky day after tomorrow.
Third annual air kite festival of Valvai Vikneswara library on last year 2013 on the same “Thaiponkal” day soared with success attracting hundred of people from all over Jaffna peninsula.
