Valvettithurai A.M.C. School has produced significant rises in the Chess, by eight numbers of students having participated at the chess tournament for boys and girls held on last 23rd at Point Pedro Hartley College. Out of eight participants three of them have been elected to Province level tournament to be held in the near future.
It is learnt that teachers and parents have encouraged their children to play this mind game.
