Tarun and Kavya are the lead characters of the film. Tarun is a BBA Graduate and Kavya is a Viscom graduate and pursuing her multimedia course. They both get to know each other through Face book and there begins their love tale and their love develops gradually. They both consider their love divine and feel that they can succeed in life if they succeed in their love.
Tarun’s and Kavya’s parents get to know about their love and they strongly oppose it. Tarun and Kavya develop hatred towards their parents and decide to step out of their house and get married. Their motive is to do well in their life and make their parents realize and regret for opposing their love.
They leave their house and travel towards an unknown destination and their travel ends up in a place that is supposed to be the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala and it’s named as “Megamalai Tiger Reserve Forest”. As they are admiring the nature, they happened to see three people who illegally kill animals in the forest and the three decide to kill Tarun and Kavya. Luckily a tribal girl named “Malar” rescues Tarun and Kavya from the three people.
Tarun and Kavya happened to stay in Malar’s house for a night. Malar is married and her husband is in prison as he was arrested for a case in regard to a case filed by the forest department. During their stay they get to know that Malar’s son is suffering from a disease and that Malar is working in a tea estate and has some savings for the treatment of her son and its worth a lakh and half. Apart from this, their stay in a house with electricity and the midnight howling of animals and elephants give them a new experience. Malar states that they are in the place which is supposed to be the regular walking path for elephants for years and years.
The next day Tarun and Kavya leave Malar’s house and Malar along with her son joins them as she takes her son to the hospital. On their way they get to see the three people who actually tried to create trouble to them earlier and those three people this time snatch the one and half lakh that Malar had for the treatment of her son. Tarun tried to recover the money by fighting with them but his efforts fail.
Tarun and Kavya decides to somehow help Malar and get back that one and half lakh money and they try in all possible ways but their efforts go in vain. They then decide to work in the tea estate along with Malar so that it might be helpful to arrange the money.
Tarun and Kavya’s life in the tea estate teaches them life and they understand that earning a single rupee is a tough task and it needs lot of hard work and sweat. At the same time Tarun joins along with Malar’s son and enjoys the beauty of the forest and nature over there. When this is happening Malar’s son suddenly falls ill and Tarun. Kavya and Malar takes him to a hospital. They decide to take a Jeep as it would be the fastest mode of transport to the hospital.
On their way they get to see a tiger that chases them and they try to escape from the tiger. They keep running and at last the three (Tarun, Kavya and Malar) along with Malar’s son get on a tree top to free themselves from the tiger. As the tiger is full of hunger it doesn’t leave the place and it stays under the tree. As a trap was kept for the wild hen, the tiger’s cub gets caught in the trap that was kept for the wild hen.
As Malar’s son’s health keeps deteriorating its not good for them to stay on the treetop. As the tiger runs to rescue its cub, at the same time Malar tries to save his son as well. Tarun and Kavya get to see the love for a mom to her kid from both the aspects. They spend their night over the treetop as the tiger doesn’t leave the place.
As Malar’s son health keeps deteriorating Malar decides to take a bold step as she decides to step from the treetop and plans to divert the attention of the tiger.
This Incident makes Tarun and Kavya think a lot and they realize that mothers’ love is the best in the world and any mother will go to any extent to rescue the life of a kid and this alarms them and they realize that parents’ love is the best in the world and nothing can match it.
