Opening ceremony of the new buildings of Theeruvil Library ("Theeruvil ilagnar vilaiyaddduk kazhaka arivakam" in Tamil) was held, yesterday evening, on 28th April 2014. Professor V.Niththiyananthan, an elder brother of Guinness famous Mr.Kumar Ananthan, had participated as Chief guest and declared open the building.
Number of peoples from Schools, Various sports clubs, Members of Valvai Urban council, Well wishers etc had taken part in this event.
An one story building which was constructed by Mr.Senthivadivel family as the remembrance of (late) Mrs.Sivarubarani Senthivadivel would comprise Library, Play room and admin office.
At the end of the ceremony, a musical program were performed by disability personnel, which had attracted all.

An arrangement is underway to bring all the books available on line, so that all could facilitate the readers in an efficient way
The Libray is located at about 400 meters south west of VVT junction, on the way to Theeruvil Paly ground.
