Annual ‘Kalai illakkiya vizha’ of 'Valvai Kalai Ilkkiya Manram’ was held in Valvettithurai on 01.01.2013.
The cultural event had commenced at VVT junction, by inviting the Guests from junction to Nidiyakatu Pillaiyar temple, where the stage program were taken place. Various traditional art events were performed in the street, by various 'Art groups of Valvttithurai', while inviting the guests to the stage.
Participants from various bodies had participated to show their various events such as speeches, dances, poems, drama etc.
‘Valvai Kalai ilkkiya Manram’ had released their yearly publication named 'Neithal', during the events.
Finally a short film named ‘Manam’, directed by Mr. Sulaxan was broadcast, where Mr. Suman, a leading young writer in Valvettithurai, had a Major role.
It was appreciated that ‘Valvai Kalai Ilkkiya Manram’ had organized the entire events in a well manner till midnight, by entertaining the Audiance to their satisfaction.
