Valvettithurai based Balachandran Jegan (age 26), who is disabled, has made a record in 200m Hurdling. The event had taken place on 26th May 2013 evening at Thuraiappah Stadium in Jaffna. Jegan’s hurdling record of 25.54 seconds was witnessed by the sports official of Jaffna district.
On talking to Valvettithurai.org, Balachandran Jegan stated that his ambition is to participate in Para Olympic in the future.
