Polikandy Kanthavanam Subramaniya Swami Temple Chariot festival held

Chariot festival of Polikandy Kanthavanam Subramaniya Swami Temple was held yesterday morning 22nd June 23012. Large numbers of devotees from surrounding villages had participated in the festival. Kanthavanam temple annual festival had commenced on 14th of this month and last till today, for observing 'Theerththam' festival.
Polikandy is in Jaffna District, Northern Province of Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council of Valvettithurai.
Polikandy is located east of Valvettithuari at a distance of about 1.5 kilometer from VVT junction.
