Valvettithurai based Mr. T. Sakthivel, who has donated his blood over 50 times in the past, has been awarded by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on 14th June 2013 during the World blood donor day.
The event took place at the president's house in Colombo, where total 101 persons who has involved in donoring of blood were awarded.
Mr. T. Sakthivel, who is presently residing at Valvettithurai, is not only a Blood Donor, but also found to be a social worker in his locality.
