People of Valvettithurai have hosted a ceremony to welcome Mr. M. K. Sivajilingam who have won in the North provincial council election held on 21st of September 2013.
Hearing victory of Sivajilingam in NPC election, Dozens of people gathered at the Valvettithurai junction in the evening and fired crackers on his arrival and garlanded Mr. Sivajilingam with slogans.
Mr. Sivajilingam who has been ranked as seven in NPC election, has been elected twice in the Parliamentary elections and thrice in Valvettithurai Urban Council elections in the past.
