Valvettithurai Sivan temple holy bath (‘Theertham’ in Tamil) festival held today morning at Orani beach at about 0800 hours in the morning and holy bath lasted until about 1100 hours.
Valvai Sri Vaitheeswarar temple's annual festival is considered as one of the important events in Valvettithurai. The annual festival that had commenced on 16th of last month ends today late evening at about 2100 hours by bringing down the temple's flag.
