Valvetty Vervil Veerkaththi Vikneswarar temple chariot festival held today. The Chariots commenced to underway in the outer roads of the temples at about 0830 hours and reached their destinations at about 0930 hours, where special Pooja had taken place.
Numbers of devotees from the surround area participated in the Chariot festival. The last day Holy bath festival (‘Theerththam’ - in tamil) tomorrow on 13th of June 14.
Valvetty Vevil Veerkaththi Vikneswarar temple is located at about 800m south east of Valvettithurai junction and it is the second largest Vinayaka temple in this area.
