Video shows a small pond, named 'Tharavai Kulam' in Tamil, located at Kommantharai, a village adjacent to Valvettihtrai, having vast area of farm land. The pond has been made is such a way that water is getting collected during rainy season and discharged to the farm land as required.
In addition to other shore birds, numerous Lapwings ('Aal kaaddi' i n Tamil) are seen in this pond most of the time, thorough out the year.
