Deep depression crosses over Colombo, brings Gale wind & heavy rain

A deep depression which is presently passing nearby Srilankan Capital Colombo brings heavy rain and Gale force wind on its path, including in capital colombo.
Indian meteorological department released a statement saying that The depression over Srilanka moved West-Southwestwards and lay centred at 1730 hours Indian Standard time of today, the 29th November 2017, over Comorin Area and adjoining Srilanka near latitude 6.2 deg North and Longitude 80.0 Deg East about 30 Km north-west of Galle and about 340 Km Southeast of Kanyakumari.
It further states that the system is very likely to move westwards and intensify further into a deep depression during next 24 hours.
