Gangaramaya temple, one of the main Buddhist temples in Colombo, was decorated during last Vesak festival held on 14th and 15th of this month. The temple and surrounding lake had been decorated with beautiful lanterns and lights.
A large number of peoples had participated at this event.
Vesak is a holy day observed traditionally by Majority Buddhists in Sri Lanka.
